Addie & Grandison Howard

Addie Marie Howard, 12, lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a toddler, Addie’s parents knew she was talented by the vibrant colors she created to color and paint beautiful beach scenes. She is very passionate about painting and enjoys the relaxation and creativity of mixing acrylic paint to make colors. After spending many summers at the coast, Addie fell in love with painting anything related to the beach and water. Addie’s first acrylic painting was displayed at the North Carolina State Fair in 3rd Grade.

Grandison Howard V, 14, also from Raleigh, North Carolina. He most enjoys drawing what he sees and bringing it to life with paint. His imagination with color and paint is very impressive. At St. David’s School, Grandison won the following awards in Art: 3rd Grade, Leonardo da Vinci Artistic Excellence Award; 6th Grade, Excellence in Art and in 7th Grade, Excellence in Art and Stem; 8th Grade Excellence in Visual Arts. Additionally, his watercolor “Cardinal in a Dogwood” received Honorable Mention at the North Carolina State Fair in 4th Grade. Recently, his painting won 2nd Place in a Juried Art Show.
